Obama Approval Still Underwater

By John Celock

Two weeks after American voters showed their disapproval of President Barack Obama’s job performance by voting against Democrats at every level, a new Rasmussen poll continues to show Obama’s approval rating underwater.

A Rasmussen Reports daily presidential tracking poll released Monday shows that 48 percent of likely voters approve of Obama’s job performance while 50 percent of likely voters disapprove. Of those surveyed, Rasmussem said that 22 percent of likely voters strong approve of Obama’s job performance while 39 percent strong disapprove.

The poll also had 80 percent of Democrats surveyed approving of the president’s job performance, while 86 percent of Republicans and 52 percent of unaffiliated voters disapprove of Obama’s job performance.
